Heather Dodd has presented at many architectural schools and forums. Her key interest in the Spatial Tactics for transformational architecture in the housing and education sector was the basis for her PhD Small Moves – Spatial Tactics for Transformation awarded by the University of the Free State. Savage + Dodd is the only African practice to have won two WAFx trophies at the World Architecture Festival.
